The Greatest Gift
The story talks about a man, George, whom practically tired of living. One day he met a strange old chap, and when George told that he wanted to disappear, the strange man granted his wish. From that moment onwards, George was appalled to that without him, the situation had totally changed, such as robberies and even one of his friend being drowned. He freaked out and wanted to go back on his own words. He begged the ols stranger to cancel the deal, lucky for him, the stranger turn him back to normal. After the event, he sees life at a different perspective. However, just as he thought that all this was a dream he realized that an item that the old stranger gave him in his so called 'dream' is still in his possession.
I like that story very much. The story relates well with our lifes.
I have learnt that we mus look at the brightside of our life

The Limits of Trooghaft by Desmond Stewart
Special story that talks about Troogs being more superior than humans. Conquering planet Humna, they made human pets. The story also explains how humans were treated. It explains that the humans where classified into different classes. The slaves, pets and gladiators. Story ends with a view point of a Troog, Blake.
The story was interesting and exiting at some point of time.
Always work hard to get things done.

How to Write a Summary
Step 1: Find out exactly what you have to search for - write out on rough paper words the of the question that tell you what to search for.
Step 2: Search for relevant points - go through the whole passage for selected lines and underline strictly just what you need to answer the question. (*NOTE: never underline the entire sentence.)
Step 3: Say it your way - make brief notes of what you have underlined in your own words.
Step 4: Write it - Write your notes, concentrating on writing good, accurate sentences.

Samphire By Patrick O'Brian
Short story by Patrick O'Brain...Quite interesting
Talks about a couple having bad relationship...
Lacey brought his wife Molly to a cliff where the saw the "samphire".
Molly went there unwillingly again. When Lacey took his chance to take a hanful of samphire, Molly tried to push him down the cliff but failed...Thus their relationship was broken
I Dislike the story... Super confusing vocabulary and boring... A bedtime story...
From this i learnt that we should never force people to do things that they do not want to do...
